Black Burgundy Truffle from Italy.
Coming fresh directly from our truffle hunter on a weekly basis.
Availability: September to January (weather dependent)
Burgundy black truffle has a dark brown to tan veined interior and is famous across Europe for its mild and delicate flavor with hazelnut notes and light aroma. This autumn truffle fares well at higher cooking temperatures so you can easily pair them with your favorite wild mushroom dish, pasta, risotto, gnocchi, and creamy sauces.
How to use:
Shave uniform and thin slices of truffle on your favorite dishes. For our truffle slicer, click here
How to store fresh truffles:
Always store your truffle in the refrigerator. You can either wrap it in a paper towel (and change the paper towel daily), or you can store it in an airtight container in rice, which you can then use to cook risotto!
