2025 Fresh Morel Mushrooms – Wild-Harvested in British Columbia

2025 Wild Morel Season Begins in BC 🍄

Happy Victoria Day!

The forest is waking up, and we’re seeing the first signs of morel season kicking off here in British Columbia.

It’s a later and lower-yielding start than we hoped for, with cooler spring temps slowing the first flush. But the ground is warming, and there’s still good potential as the season unfolds. Our pickers are out daily, scouting higher elevations and known burn sites for the first harvests of the year.

This is a gentle reminder that morels don’t follow a schedule—they appear when conditions are right. Our harvests are wild, unpredictable, and entirely weather-dependent. Every morel we ship is foraged by hand and shipped fresh—no shortcuts, no farming.

Pre-Orders Recommended
Quantities are limited at the start of the season. We encourage chefs, restaurants, and home cooks to pre-order early so we can prioritize your spot and update you as fresh lots come in from the field.

Handle with Care: Fresh Morel Tips
Morels are fragile, so once they’re in your kitchen, keep them cool, dry, and unwashed until use. Avoid plastic bags or sealed containers—paper or breathable packaging is best.

If your shipment ever seems off, let us know. We only pack prime-quality morels, field cleaned and hand-sorted.

From the Forest Floor to Your Doorstep 🌲
We’re in close contact with our foragers daily and will continue updating as yields improve throughout BC and into Alberta. If the season follows historical trends, we should see stronger harvests as we move into June.
