The unripe counterpart of the yellow mature yuzu is the green yuzu. Mandarin, grapefruit, and lemon flavors are all included in the complex and aromatic citrus combination known as yuzu.
This well-known citrus fruit from Japan is frequently used as a flavoring in modest amounts.
The green yuzu has a wonderful scent, especially on the skin. The juice has a yuzu undertone and tastes a lot like lime. Consequently, it has somewhat higher acidity than a yellow yuzu.
The juice makes an excellent spice for a dressing or drink. Grated zest adds a pleasant scent to sauces, condiments, and creams when used in small amounts.
