Pine or Matsutake are also known as The Holy Grail of wild mushrooms.
The Matsutake mushroom is a form of fungi that traditionally signals the onset of autumn. For many Japanese, it is a delicacy that is treasured for its fruity fragrance and spicy aroma.
These mushrooms are graded depending on how intact they are from the time of fruiting.
